A package price from EUR 690 says little while it remains unclear what comes after it. That is exactly where comparisons fail in this market: the entry price is low everywhere, the final total different everywhere. This article puts both sides in the open — the package tiers, every add-on with its price, and the items that are not charged by us at all.
The package tiers
All three tiers include the Public Service Hall fee. That is not a given — it is frequently charged separately, which makes the entry price look lower than it is.
| Tier | Price | Core |
|---|---|---|
| Basic | from EUR 690 | registration, articles, power of attorney, filing, registration and tax number |
| Standard | from EUR 1,290 | plus extended support — the tier that fits most cases |
| Professional | from EUR 1,990 | for more complex shareholder structures and special cases |
For special tax statuses — Free Industrial Zone, International Company Status or Virtual Zone — a separate guide price of from EUR 9,990 applies, because the effort differs considerably depending on the route.
The add-ons, in full
This is where the gap between entry price and final total arises. Which is why every item is listed with its price:
| Add-on | Price | When it makes sense |
|---|---|---|
| Online notary (video power of attorney) | EUR 200 | if you have no access to an online notary of your own |
| Express filing at the Public Service Hall | EUR 120 | shortens registration to one business day |
| Registered business address | EUR 600/year | where a registered address in Georgia is required |
| Second banking relationship | EUR 200 | redundancy in case one banking relationship fails |
| Employment contract templates | EUR 350 | as soon as staff are to be hired |
| Work permit | EUR 450 per person | only for operational activity in Georgia — government fee included |
| Local director | EUR 1,200/year | only where local management is genuinely needed |
| Compliance call | EUR 150 | to clarify special cases before commissioning |
Banking has three tiers: Basis EUR 590 with support on site in Tbilisi, which requires you to travel; Standard EUR 790 fully remote via power of attorney and apostille; Professional EUR 1,290 with a VIP account at TBC or Bank of Georgia. Further banks cost EUR 200 per institution.
The bundle price is the most important item on this list: where banking is commissioned together with an LLC formation it costs EUR 400 instead of the full price. Anyone who needs both anyway and commissions them separately pays several hundred euro too much.
Three worked constellations
| Solo, lean | Standard case | With substance | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Formation tier | Basic, EUR 690 | Standard, EUR 1,290 | Professional, EUR 1,990 |
| Banking | Basis on site, EUR 590 | bundled, EUR 400 | bundled, EUR 400 |
| Online notary | not needed when travelling | EUR 200 | EUR 200 |
| Registered address | — | — | EUR 600/year |
| Local director | — | — | EUR 1,200/year |
| One-off total excluding the third-party costs named below | EUR 1,280 | EUR 1,890 | EUR 2,590 |
| Recurring per year | Bookkeeping from 250 GEL/month | Bookkeeping from 250 GEL/month | plus EUR 1,800/year |
For a company rather than a sole trader, ongoing bookkeeping starts at 450 GEL per month — including 50 documents and payroll for one employee. Each further document costs 5 GEL.
Where you actually lose money
Not on the add-ons. Here:
- Commissioning banking separately from the formation costs several hundred euro more than the EUR 400 bundle price
- Booking a local director without needing one EUR 1,200 a year for a function many constellations do not require
- Adding a work permit without becoming operationally active on the ground EUR 450 per person — shareholders without a position and remote work for foreign clients are exempt
- Choosing the highest tier because it sounds most complete Professional solves special cases, not uncertainty
- Booking express where there is no deadline pressure EUR 120 for one or two business days
- Applying for the apostille last costs nothing extra but routinely a week
- Taking a compliance call before commissioning where the case is unclear EUR 150 that prevents a wrong structure
The most expensive mistake is none of these items but the wrong structure: a company where a sole trader would have sufficed, or a foreign structure while residence at home continues — on which see Account Seizure: How Far Enforcement Really Reaches. Against that order of magnitude, a EUR 120 express fee is a rounding difference.
Frequently asked questions
Is the government fee included in the package price?
Yes, in all three tiers. The Public Service Hall fee is priced in so that the package total is the final total. That is not a given in this market — where it is charged separately, the entry price looks lower than it is. Outside the package remain only notary and apostille costs at home plus courier dispatch.
Which tier do I need?
For most plans the Standard tier from EUR 1,290. Basic from EUR 690 suffices with a simple structure and where you are on site anyway. Professional from EUR 1,990 addresses more complex shareholder structures and special cases — it is not insurance against uncertainty. Where the case is unclear, a compliance call at EUR 150 is the cheaper instrument.
What does banking cost on top?
Commissioned separately: Basis EUR 590 with support on site in Tbilisi, Standard EUR 790 fully remote via power of attorney and apostille, Professional EUR 1,290 with a VIP account at TBC or Bank of Georgia. Commissioned together with an LLC formation, banking costs EUR 400 instead of the full price. Each further banking relationship costs EUR 200.
What do ongoing operations cost?
Bookkeeping for sole traders starts at 250 GEL per month, including up to 30 documents and the annual accounts. For a company it starts at 450 GEL per month with 50 documents and payroll for one employee. Each further document costs 5 GEL. A registered address costs EUR 600 a year, a local director EUR 1,200 a year.
Do I need a local director?
In many constellations, no. The position costs EUR 1,200 a year and makes sense where local management is genuinely required — not as a standard building block. It is one of the items on which money is most often spent unnecessarily, because it sounds like completeness.
Why are offers in this market so hard to compare?
Because the entry price is low everywhere and what it includes differs. The three most common divergences: the government fee is charged separately, ongoing bookkeeping is not part of the quote, and notary, apostille and courier costs at home go unmentioned. Which is why every item is listed separately here.
This article is general information and does not constitute legal or tax advice. All prices stated are net amounts in euro or lari according to the price list in force at the time of writing and are entry or guide prices; the individual quotation prevails. Notary, apostille and courier costs at home are incurred with third parties. As of May 2026, prices subject to change.
