Your duties
- Receiving, processing and resolving IT tickets
- Daily administration tasks, such as processing faults and warnings in monitoring.
- Monitoring of backup processes for their function. Maintenance and patch management of clients and servers
- Ready-to-use setup of hardware / software / peripherals of the user accounts on Active Directory and Microsoft365
- Participation in the continuous maintenance and qualitative improvement of IT security throughout the network
- Assignment of authorizations according to the specifications of the specialist departments
Our expectations from them are
- Experience in user support (yes, users can be difficult)
- Advanced knowledge of network infrastructure (IPv4, IPv6, routing, switching, VLAN’s, trunking, QoS)
- Very good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and Windows 10 as well as handling mobile devices, printers, scanners and video conference systems
- Good knowledge of client installation and configuration, process knowledge according to ITIL V3, experience in using remote support tools and knowledge in using MDM systems
- Experience in the administration of Windows networks
- Experience in the administration of Linux networks
- Knowledge in the use of Atera’s RMM
- Excellent knowledge of VMware and vSphere (vCenter) Platform
- Very good knowledge of Veeam backup product for Windows, Linux and Virtualization (VMware)
- Experience in configuring and deploying Mikrotik products (routers, wifi) with RouterOS
- Knowledge of the operation, maintenance and configuration of HPE servers of the DL3XX and ML3XX series, as well as HPE MSA Storages.
- Knowledge of management and maintenance for Dell workstations and Lenovo laptops.
- Experience configuring Aruba Networks switches
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Server 2019, 2016. Active Directory, ADFS, GPO’s, Certificate Services, DNS, DHCP, etc.
- Knowledge of the operation of application servers and database servers
- Experience in the administration of Exchange on-premise and Microsoft 365
- Implementation of workflow automation and Powershell scripts
- Knowledge of using Chocolatey
- Knowledge in administration of Kaspersky or MS-Defender
- Confident English (optionally German), both written and spoken
- Commitment and motivation as well as the ability to work in a team
- High willingness to learn and interest in further education
- Very good knowledge in your field of expertise
- A high degree of reliability and sense of responsibility
- Successfully completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the aforementioned area of responsibility
- Good understanding of technical and economic issues
