Your duties
- Accompaniment of the entire software development cycle from intake, conception, implementation to roll-out based on PHP technologies.
- Collaboration with the business departments within the framework of an agile software development process.
- Daily development in PHP (mainly Plugins) on Shopware 5 Plattform, partly also in other web technologies and programming languages.
- Developing, testing and documenting Plugin Code for Shopware 5.
- Developing reusable libraries and code for future use.
- Working in agile interdisciplinary scrum teams.
- Identifying and fixing bugs on production systems.
- Coordinating interfaces with other teams and external service providers.
Our expectations from them are
- Competent handling of the version management GIT (Bitbucket, Github).
- Confident with operational project management solutions (Jira, Confluence).
- Experience in the development of backward compatible software (non breaking changes).
- Sound knowledge of database technologies (MySQL).
- Confident with service technologies and microservices (REST, JSON).
- Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, JS, CSS).
- Use of CI/CD systems (Agile, DevOps) and creating workflows for them (Jenkins).
- Use of test and validation frameworks.
- Confident English (optionally German), both written and spoken
- Commitment and motivation as well as the ability to work in a team
- High willingness to learn and interest in further education
- Very good knowledge in your field of expertise
- A high degree of reliability and sense of responsibility
- Successfully completed studies in computer science or a comparable qualification
- Professional experience in the aforementioned area of responsibility
- Good understanding of technical and economic issues
- Structured and careful way of working
